Ascii table

Hello everyone, wazzap?
So, I'm studing now at computation university in my city and I'm gonna tell u a little bit about this so important thing for computing that is the ASCII table, that menas American Standard Code of Information Interchange.
So, we know that all the information in the computer is stored as a binary code, that's the only thing the computer actually 'understands'. Therefore there is a association between some 0-1 combinations and letters and that's called the ASCII table. It's essencial for computing.Anyway, there is a image below with the non-extended version of the table and below the extended version.
The codes are in Decimal and hexadecimal.

  3. Nice, nice. The problem being that unless you memorize these they're really not a lot of use.

  4. I usually use the wiki article on them and search for the one I need.

  6. Learnt that for a computer course in my college while pursuing accountancy and was glad at not having become a programmer though my counselor in high school had insisted I should.
It's a different story that accountancy was not my cuppa coffee either in the long run. :D Should have taken English literature like I wanted to but which, most Indian middle class parents look down upon. :(

  12. Good stuff! Totally not something I'll use everyday, but it's definitely interesting to get a little of a deeper look into how things work!
